Prussia, Order of the Crown Medal 1888
The Order of the Crown Medal was established by Emperor Wilhelm II on December 1, 1888, and was not an official decoration of the Prussian Order of the Crown. It was primarily used to honor lower court officials, civilians, and later also foreign servants, workers, and residents of the colonies for good service. The medal exists in various versions made of gilded copper and zinc, with a stamped or separately crafted crown.
