The Infantry Assault Badge in Silver was one of the Wehrmacht's higher awards in World War II and was awarded to infantrymen who had distinguished themselves through outstanding performance in assaults and in direct combat with the enemy. It was the second highest level of the Infantry Assault Badge, which was awarded in bronze, silver and gold versions.
