The Motor Driving Probation Badge in Gold was the highest level of the Motor Driving Probation Badge awarded in the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS during World War II. It was an award for soldiers who had demonstrated outstanding achievements in the field of motor driving, particularly in carrying out long and dangerous journeys under extreme conditions. While the Bronze and Silver Motor Driving Probation Badges were awarded for fewer missions, the Gold Badge was a high recognition for soldiers who had demonstrated an exceptional number and difficulty of missions in the field of motor driving.
