USSR Order of the Red Banner
The Order of the Red Banner (Russian: Орден Красного Знамени) was one of the most important and highest military awards of the Soviet Union. It was awarded for outstanding services in military and revolutionary activities, especially for bravery in battle and exceptional achievements in the defense of the Soviet Union and its socialist ideals. The Order of the Red Banner was one of the oldest Soviet awards and was introduced after the October Revolution.
