Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, House Order of Vigilance of the White Falcon Knight's Cross 1st Class with Swords
The House Order of Vigilance or of the White Falcon, Knight's Cross, First Class with Swords, is a rare and special award of the Grand Duchy of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach. The House Order was established in 1732 and, following the upheavals of the Napoleonic era, was restructured in 1815, subdivided into Grand Cross, Commander, and Knight. Around 1870, the Knight class was also awarded swords for military valor for the first time. This version—gold with enameled cross arms—was awarded in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, especially for merit in war. Only around 150 known recipients are known, which underscores its rarity and high symbolic value.
