Battle Clasp (TIENTSIN) for the China Commemorative Coin
The Battle Clasp (Tientsin) for the China Commemorative Coin was awarded to soldiers who took part in the fighting in the city of Tientsin (now Tianjin) during the China Expedition of 1900-1901. Tientsin was a major scene of fighting between the Allied troops and the Boxers, a nationalist movement opposed to the Western presence in China, during the Boxer Rebellion.
